Restoration
In order for believers to become who they are called to be, there are several principles that must be “restored” to the Body of Christ. We believe that Jesus Christ is “retained/held in the heavens until the restoration of all things spoken of by the prophets” (Acts 3:21).
Some examples of that which must be restored:
- Jesus Christ is the son of God – the Sovereign God manifested in bodily form. He is Supreme above all things in heaven and earth. His name is above all. He is to be worshiped. All authority belongs to Him in both Heaven and Earth.
- He is The Way, The Truth and The Life. His death and resurrection are the methods by which He offers redemption and salvation.
- He is the Savior, Redeemer, and Husband of the Church. He is King of Kings and Lord of Lords, eternally on the Throne of Heaven.
Salvation by Grace through Faith
- We are saved by the Grace of God. Our faith, which is itself a gift from God, is the method by which the Grace of God is received and then activated when one repents of his/her sins and calls on the Name of Jesus Christ.
- Salvation is a free gift available only to those who call on the Name of Jesus Christ. Salvation is available to everyone, regardless of age, race, gender, .
- Salvation is the redemption from darkness to light – freedom from Satan’s rightful claim to us and deliverance to become Children of God.
The Baptism in the Holy Spirit
- The Church was designed to be powerful. God’s method for the supernatural empowerment of His Church is the Baptism in the Holy Spirit. This is a subsequent work to salvation, and it is marked by praying in tongues that are unknown to the speaker.
- The Baptism in the Holy Spirit releases the nine supernatural gifts found in 1 Corinthians 12, thus gifting the church and its individuals with the tools necessary for miraculous outreach, city-wide impact, and the transformation of the lives of others.
The Local Church
- The local church is Christ’s representation in the earth. We are created to be the sound and voice of God and heaven in the here and now. We’re to continually release the sound of praise and adoration to God and to release the Word of God through teaching, prayer, prophesying, witnessing and preaching.
- We are to equip all believers for the work of ministry through the joint efforts of the five-fold ministries.
- The local church is to be a “place of refuge” where there is a deposit of the “Shadow of the Almighty”, a place of safety and holiness.
The Kingdom of God
- Believers in Jesus Christ are called to establish the Kingdom of God in the earth through worship, prayer, witnessing, holiness, spiritual gifts, and demonstration of the Love of God, thus establishing God’s Reign in every area of life, regardless of eschatology.
- The Kingdom is the church’s first priority of action.
- THe Kingdom of God is God’s method of expanding His Glory and Government (spiritual, not political) throughout the natural and spiritual realm.
Revival
- Revival is experienced by God’s outpouring of His Presence at a certain time, in a certain place, on a certain people of His choosing.
- Revival is then marked by miracles, conversions, signs, wonders, a renewed hunger for God, repentance, and God’s Manifested Presence.
- We seek to become a place and people, in this time upon which God can pour out His Spirit and Manifest His Own Glory.
- Revival is God Glorifying Himself through His own people in answer to their desire for Him.
